Future Direction

In addition to the services we currently offer and the functionality of the portal Link Gov - we have a clear direction and vision for the future.

Once best practice is identified and demonstrated, that knowledge must be transferred to all interested parties in order to speed up the efficiency and effectiveness of implementation of any policies, directives and plans.
Previously organisations would work independently and by dong so would show a certain level of confidence. However in the modern day world, the far more mature model of conducting business is by having true interdependent relationships and partnerships.

In the age of information, the phrase ‘knowledge is power’ was never more precise. Often, on many projects, it’s a myriad of departments and personnel who have contributed to the final success of a programme or project.
In recognition of this, because we believe everyone should be acknowledged for their efforts and contribution, however large or small, we have a number of exciting new tools to give the user full control to disseminate the best practice they have been involved in. This will not only speed up the spread of best practice but also recognise those who sometimes are forgotten as key contributors.

We are currently developing FREE tools to allow users of Link Gov to upload their case studies and whitepapers. To rate other reviews. To read recommended reviews. To socially network with their peers across the public sector domain. And to nominate their colleagues for their achievements and hard work.
Open source and Wikis are one of this generations great innovations and we too are developing tools to enable public sector specific ones.

Further more, we openly welcome innovation and ideas from you the user. Should your ideas come to fruition you will be fully and formally recognised at Link Gov for having been the innovator for bringing the table.
